Job Description
The Design Program Coordinator will focus on supporting the Facebook App Monetization (FAM) design team. The ideal candidate is highly organized with experience meeting deadlines, establishing timelines, anticipating project issues and resolving them. This role requires excellent communication skills, an ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A highly organized approach and consistent delivery is mandatory. You'll work with a Design Program Manager and support the team on ad hoc projects as needed.

This is a full-time contract position based in our Menlo Park office.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the operations of the design team's programs including: 
    • Onboarding: tracking new hires, building and maintaining a Wiki to house content - soliciting feedback from recent hires to improve. Initiate a crowd sourced resource for teammates joining from outside the area (things to see, places to eat, etc. in different parts of the bay)
    • FAM Camp: ensuring that our monthly onboarding sessions run smoothly (i.e., invites, speakers, catering, in-room support, surveys, etc.)
    • Quality: weekly bug reporting, tool maintenance & team communications
    • Document maintenance: maintain multiple existing document/resources ensuring they're accurate & current
    • Process Improvement Support: creating & improving processes, make workflows and processes more consistent and repeatable across design pillars
    • Event planning and additional ad hoc project support as needed
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Positive attitude and dependably delivers on requests;
  • 2+ years experience working in a similar capacity required;
  • Track record of being detail-oriented, willing to wear multiple hats, identifying areas for improvement/support and delivering results in a highly organized manner;
  • Bachelors degree required.
