Systems Engineer (9567815)

IT/Engineering and Mobile
Contribute to engineering efforts within the team from design, implementation to maintenance
Build and implement tooling, automation and services for teams across Enterprise Core Services
Implement solutions with best practices - testable, maintainable, extensible, ability to scale
Monitor health, efficiency and accuracy of our tools services by building actionable dashboards and notifications
Provide ongoing maintenance and support of existing tools and services
Participate in org-wide incident review and remediation
Participate in the team's weekly on-call rotations
Leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Facebook.com infrastructure to solve problems for our customers
Experience with Python
Experience with multiple programming languages
Experience with containerization such as Docker / Kubernetes
Experience with Windows and/or Linux
Experience with C# and Powershell
Familiar with version control such as (Git, Mercurial, SVN)
Ability to troubleshoot and reverse engineer services and solutions quickly
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
3+ years experience of coding in any general purpose programming language
2+ years of systems engineering
2+ years experience building or maintaining services in cloud based environments such as (AWS , GCE, Azure, etc..)
2+ years experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as (Chef, Ansible, DSC)
1+ years of database experience Sql / No-Sql such as (MySql, Redis, etc..)
