Technical Project Manager (8747331)

Facebook's Privacy and Data Use (PDU) team is seeking a passionate project manager to help those around us be more effective, and share the same passion to drive open action items to closure and to support a larger initiative to improve our incident response process. This is a contractor position based in our headquarter office in Menlo Park.


  • Follow up on assigned action items generated from reviews of privacy incidents, ensuring that product teams are prioritizing them
  • Escalate issues and questions to on-call incident managers when technical assistance is required
  • Develop dashboards in the incident management tool that provide stats on remediated incidents that are ready for team debriefing
  • Provide regular updates regarding progress on open action items and make recommendations to improve progress
  • Assist the PDU programs and policy manager in updating and maintaining project information relating to the privacy incident review process
  • Participate in initiatives to improve tooling and automating manual processes
  • Respond to audit requests

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented and organized approach, excellent communication, developed interpersonal skills.
  • Experience building relationships across and collaborating across a diverse org, including cross-functional technical and non-technical partner teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and simultaneous projects in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a tech field and understanding of web and mobile application architectures.
  • Experience with infrastructure technologies, software development, and/or application security life-cycle.
  • Experience working in a web/tech company is highly desirable.
  • Experience with query languages and data visualization tool (i.e. tableau).
