Marketing Manager, Facebook Blueprint (Contractor)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual will be responsible for building awareness of, and engagement in, Facebook
Blueprint, Facebook’s education and training platform that enables people, advertisers and
businesses of all sizes to unlock the power of our platforms, learn new digital marketing skills,
and earn recognized credentials that enable them to advance their careers. This role will
specifically develop and support marketing plans that targets our core audiences. This role will also develop cross-functional internal marketing communications around Facebook Blueprint’s programs including compelling and relatable storytelling around data and metrics.
Responsibilities include creating and activating marketing and comms plans and materials – e.g.
Building and executing digital and traditional media strategies, sales enablement collateral,
internal communication documents, marketing collateral, events, digital campaigns, etc. The
role is expected to do the following:
- Use data-driven approaches to inform storytelling with particular attention to our audiences and stakeholders which are compelling. The role is expected to:
- Lead strategic communications plans for online and offline evergreen marketing campaigns
- Lead the design and manage the development of online communication campaigns with our audiences
- Lead the development, production and management of offline communication campaigns
- Provide recommendations for the UX and messaging of the Blueprint education platform and programs (content production, development of new sections, updating and continuous improvement)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to socialize and implement new and existing Facebook Blueprint offerings into education focused initiatives
- Define and measure performance of communication campaigns with a view to continuous improvement
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must work well cross-functionally and be comfortable navigating a matrixed, fast-paced organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience in the production of high-level reports, documents and presentations and the ability to clearly articulate complex messages for a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work based on deadlines and determination to achieve the data objectives
- Demonstrated experience of campaign implementation and amplification of messages
- Must be flexible with an eagerness to ‘pitch in’ when needed on various projects
- Experience working in a sales-based organization preferred
- Audience first understanding and tailored marketing approaches
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Experience working on consumer brands is a plus and/or strong understanding of education offerings
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and how to construct integrated campaigns
- Can work top to bottom; not only willing to roll sleeves up and get in the trenches, but also comfortable working with executive leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing or related field/function
