Program Portfolio Program Management (9020950)

Assist Legal OPTech in establishing a portfolio management process to manage and monitor the projects being supported by OPTech including:

  • Current state assessment of the existing portfolio management capabilities, process and tools thru documentation review and stakeholder interviews
  • Identification of quick win opportunities
  • Consult on and revise existing project intake process with partner teams to include identification, triage, and impact/ranking assessment of projects
  • Creation of a prioritization process to help the team to prioritize and sequence projects
  • Creation of a governance process to help assess and determine alternatives to issues and risks and to support capacity planning
  • Develop an improvement roadmap based on output assessment activities
  • Intake & Assessment documents to allow the teams to consistently size and score each new project request during the triage and assessment stage.
  • Prioritization & scheduling tools to promote better visibility to portfolio impact and new requests and adjusting priorities
  • Establish a resource demand planning process to help align on commitments with stakeholder teams
  • Defined governance process and reporting to help monitor current status and risks of active portfolio
  • Develop summary reporting individually tailored for stakeholder, PM, and leadership audiences
  • Provide Weekly project status reports
  • Strong project management and communication skill
  • Strong influencing skills; consistently achieves targeted results without authority and by leveraging his/her expertise, business knowledge, and relationships
  • Strong partnering skills; has exceptionally strong and highly effective working relationships with internal and/or external customers, partners and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including understanding of key change management concepts and methodologies
  • Proven abilities to effectively lead, organize and prioritize work
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and constant change.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • 7+ years in experiencing complex Programs
  • 2+ years in managing large Portfolio
  • Previous people management experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • PMP certification (preferred)
