Vendor shall provide site sourcing support services for Facebook Facility Operations Sourcing Team (collectively the “Services”). Vendor shall:
-Ensure resources are available remotely and/or at specific data centers and are able to travel to data centers to provide sourcing support as requested by Facebook.
-Manage relationship with Facebook stakeholders. Vendor shall:
-Partner with business stakeholders, Facebook’s data center stakeholders and local key stakeholders, align on strategy and top impact initiatives with Facebook’s sourcing managers to determine sourcing initiatives; support key strategic initiatives at local sites and enable efficient scaling, optimal supplier performance and cost efficiency.
-Assist Facebook’s sourcing managers to identify key performance metrics that enable optimal services level agreement (“SLA”) performance.
-Report supplier actual performance against negotiated supplier’s SLA on a regular basis, as requested by Facebook.
-Collect data for business reviews for key suppliers as needed or as requested by Facebook.
-Assist Facebook’s sourcing managers with trainings on sourcing process, requirements and initiatives with supplied materials.
-Provide support for data center turn-up.
-Partner with local teams as required to assist them with putting required services and spares in place prior to data center turn-up.
-Co-ordinate site initial ordering under Facebook’s national agreements.
-Provide data center ongoing service support. Vendor shall:
-Assist local team with all sourcing related needs.
-Provide local support for ordering and monitoring required services.
-Act as first point of information for local stakeholders.
-Analyze spend data, internal requirements and supplier performance to support overall global sourcing strategy for the data centers.
-Support requests for information (each a “RFI”), requests for proposal (each a “RFP”) and request for quotation (each a “RFQ”) services as directed by Facebook sourcing manager.
-Partner with appropriate Facebook stakeholders.
-Present RFx results to Facebook evaluation team and assist Facebook sourcing manager as directed.
-Help identify and assist to qualify which suppliers should be on a preferred supplier list.
-Partner with Facebook stakeholders and sourcing managers to ensure alignment.
-Provide guidance for preferred supplier list (“PSL”).
-Provide day-to-day operational reporting of all delivery, cost, quality and overall performance-related issues with suppliers utilizing provided tools, templates, and processes, as requested and directed by Facebook.
3 must haves on potential resumes for the SSL role:
• Sourcing/Supply Chain experience(At least 7 years) in facilities/maintenance service categories. Particularly in developing RFXs + efficiently managing contracts and suppliers.
• Solid interpersonal skills. In this role is key that candidate is able to establish solid rapport & communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Microsoft office proficiency. Able to use basic excel and analyze data.
