Client Partner (INTL)

Facebook is seeking an exceptional professional to take ownership and responsibility for building out and executing clear plans for core sub verticals in the technology, media, and telecommunications categories. We’re looking for a thought-leader to help position Facebook and its family of apps and services at the forefront of performance and brand marketing in Australia.

 

The role will be responsible for building and leading a business segment with tech, media, and telco clients. Day-to-day focus will be on growing long-term partnerships with strategic client and aligning Facebook’s end to end marketing solutions to deliver client business growth. The ideal candidate will be skilled at selling and delivering both marketing and product level solutions to multichannel advertisers, across brand building and performance marketing solutions.

 

Impeccable consultative sales expertise and analytical skills are a must, as well as a passion for Facebook’s open and innovative culture. Success in this position will require knowledge of the broader technology and media industries, a proven ability to influence at C/VP-level stakeholders, and the ability to build business solutions that provide valuable marketing solutions to clients. The position will be based in our Sydney office, with requirement to travel interstate occasional Internationally.

 

You will have a passion for the tech, media, and telco industries and will win by driving vertical and client success leveraging Facebook’s ongoing product and technology developments;

  • Consistently deliver against revenue and growth targets in order to drive accelerated growth;
  • Develop and broaden deep collaborative and commercial relationships with major clients;
  • Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and Facebook marketing solutions;
  • Partner with other product and business development counterparts on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach;
  • Have a strong understanding of attribution with the ability to help partners better evaluate real marketing/sales impact across the customer journey.

 

7+ years of Marketing, Brand Advertising, Consulting, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience;

Mission-driven leader with understanding of the tech, media, and telecommunications sectors;

Knowledge of developing business models in subscription and streaming;

Ability to build strong relationships with top marketing and product decision makers;

Proven track record of successfully reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals;

Strong understanding of Facebook user behavior and how technology works;

Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment strongly preferred.
