Facebook is seeking a Connectivity Ecosystem Program Manager to help identify, coordinate, and lead new initiatives to accelerate the deployment of emerging technologies in the field. If you have passion for working with innovative, cutting edge, cost efficient wireless and networking infrastructure that will enable efforts to deliver internet to the un-connected, and significantly scale current networks and you have experience in developing working partnerships at a C-level then this maybe a role for you. As Connectivity Ecosystem Program Manager, you will work closely with the Facebook Infrastructure team to establish and develop telecom infrastructure partnerships with organizations operating in the field of wireless access, backhaul, core networking and optical and satellite transmission communication systems. In parallel, you will interface with industry leading partners, including hardware/software
vendors and systems solution providers. Finally, you will work closely with network operators to understand how Facebook and its partners’ contributions can be of most impact to this diverse ecosystem.
This is a contract position based in our Singapore office and will report to the Manager, Connectivity Ecosystem Program.
;Lead emerging network and device side technology programs, involving cross-functional coordination across the company and with external partners
;Identify new programs and develop go-to-market strategies.
;Perform market and competitive analyses via direct industry engagement.
;Work closely with internal teams throughout planning, analysis, implementation, and post implementation phases.
;Engage with partners and manage cross functional teams as part of field trials and broader commercial roll-outs.
;Identify overall program dependencies, risk analyses and develop mitigation strategies.
;Work independently with minimal supervision.
;B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Engineering degree preferred.
;Eight or more years of mobile industry experience, ideally in the areas of mobile device and/or network systems (last-mile technologies preferred).
;Experience in Product Management or Technical Program Management.
;Experienced in end to end software/hardware life cycle development management.
;Experience Performing market and competitive analyses
;Working knowledge of Project Management tools.
;Experience understanding application requirements and translating needs into product and capacity plans.
;Experience in identifying new programs and developing go-to-market strategies.
;Strong cross-functional leadership, organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced environment.
;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team and with external partners.
;Curiosity about new technologies and its applicability to improving Facebook’s products and services.
